Greetings Star Trek Fans,

It has been a while since Starfleet Command posted any new updates on the website.....simple reason.....we are devoting all our efforst to create a fun inworld experience....

A few things have changed within he game play of UFS Grid, one of the most important ones is that ANYONE can now create any group they want regardless of faction

The Land Store is now open as well, so if you want to create your dream planet or empire, now is the time......

UFS Grid has now a full commerce system which means that you can buy and sell items

Most of the areas that are under control of UFS Grid are now ready for you to use. Amongst those are Deep Space 9 (the Log in Area for the Grid), Memory Alpha and Beta (our tribute museum to Star Trek).....

The first sims owned by independant groups are also open for public, amongs those are the sims for United Federation Starfleet (www.ufstarfleet.org) the single largest Star Trek Fan Organization in the Virtual Worlds and IFT, a RL Fan Organization also has partnered with us to bring you all th es Star Trek has to offer right to your computer screen.....

In order to bring you the full star trek experience, we are looking for people who want to help us.

One of the most pressing matters are

- Website (we are looking for people to put Grid related content on the website

- Newsletter (we are looking for an editor in chief to create a Gri related newsletter

- Mentors (we are looking for people who would like tospend some time in the Welcome Center to welcome new people and help them getting settled in

- Content Creators ( we are looking for people wantingto create items like clothing and such)

- much more (basically anyone who would like to volunteer some of their time is welcome to suggest something
